1. Savanna has worked with Aboriginal communities for over a decade. As in all of our partnerships, Savanna strives for a win-win-win partnership model between the Fort McKay First Nation, the E&P Customer and Savanna, to create a meaningful relationship which presents benefits to all three stakeholders. Some of the benefits to the Fort McKay First Nation include employment and training opportunities, economic participation in the energy industry activity in the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo, and the pride of ownership that comes with the ownership of meaningful assets. The E&P Customer is then provided with high quality services from a reputable service provider, is able to build relationships with Aboriginal communities, and sees a portion of their dollars going back to the community.
